There is an opening for a 7th Grade Football Coach.  This is a supplemental position.  See the employment section for details.

The Minford Board of Education will hold a Special Board Meeting on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 6:00pm in the High School Media Center. 

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Employment of Public Employees. 

The board will enter into Executive Session, and no other action will be taken at this meeting. 

Amarii Smith won 3rd place in the World Problem Essay contest (out of 82 students)

Addi Lloyd and Lauren Matiz won Outstanding Leadership Award (only about 20-25 of these awards given out among the 600 students participating)

Italy's-Addi Lloyd, Chloe McFadden, Ariana Jordan, Malia Parsley, Layni Conkel, and Adalynn Brown won Outstanding Resolutions (only 7 awards given out of 82 resolutions)

Chloe McFadden and Lauren Matiz won Outstanding Delegate award (only 15 of these awards out of the 600 students participating are given out)

Lauren Matiz and Madden Cartee were voted to be the 2026 Jr OMUN Council Presidents.

Verizon Innovative Learning

- Free summer STEM enrichment program for 6th-8th graders 

- Three-week, in-person, day camp, running Monday-Friday

As we reach the end of the 2024 - 2025 school year, we would like to take a moment to thank our students, families, and community members for an amazing school year!  Our students have achieved many amazing things this year in academics, athletics, and all other activities, and we are extremely proud of them for these amazing accomplishments.  It's great to be a Falcon, and Falcons are doing AMAZING things!

The May 2025 Regular Board of Education meeting has been moved to Thursday, May 8, 2025. The meeting will be held in the High School Media Center. 

5:45pm- Records Commission Meeting

6:00pm- Regular Board Meeting

When:  Saturday, May 10, 2025 (Rain or Shine)

Where:  MHS Front Parking Lot Area (If needed due to weather, the event may be moved into the high school gym.

For:  proceeds made from vendors will be used to help students in our district in various groups and clubs for upcoming events.

April 1st – State Route 335 Closure
State Route 335 will be closed for a full Rocky Fork Bridge replacement. The duration of the closure is currently unknown.

- Students living between the 4-way intersection in Muletown and the Rocky Fork Bridge must meet Bus #17 at Bennett’s Collision (across from Muletown Mini Mart).
- This applies to both morning and afternoon routes.
- Please park on the right (facing Bennett’s toward the Amish stand) to allow space for the bus to turn around.

April 8th – State Route 139 Closure (Approx. 15 Days)
State Route 139 will be closed near the Clarktown Fire Station for approximately 15 days.

- Local detours will be directed around Wilson Street.
- No Out-of-District pick-up or drop-off at Clarktown Pizza until the road reopens.

Since buses will have a longer route to navigate around the closures, expect some delays as we work out the timing of the changes. We appreciate your cooperation and patience. If you have any questions, please contact the transportation office.
