Memorial services for Edith Golden Knore Hale will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Church of Christ.

 

Joe Beam will officiate.  Additional memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Sunshine Church of Christ, Minford, Ohio.

 

Mrs. Hale, 76, of 1907 Coulter Drive, died Monday, January 6, 1992 at her residence.

 

A native of Minford, Ohio, Mrs. Hale was a North Augusta resident for eight years.  She was a retired accountant.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.  She was a former 4-H Club leader.  She was associated with the Columbus School for the Deaf, the Tipton Children's Home, and Abilene Christian University.

 

Surviving are two daughters, Wanda Smith, North Augusta, and Carolyn Hale, Rochester, NY; two brothers, Frank Harmon Knore, Columbus, and Victor Knore, Minford; two sisters, Garnet Shelton, Dayton, Ohio and Stella Mae Knore, Columbus; and four grandchildren.

 

Memorials may be made to the 4-H Youth Programs, Scioto County Cooperative Extension Service, 602 Seventh Street, Room 7, Portsmouth, Ohio, 45662, attention Lucinda Miller.
