Funeral services are to be at noon Saturday at Denver, Colorado for Mrs. Verna Peach Valdez, 52, of Denver.

 

Mrs. Valdez died Sunday at a Colorado Springs hospital following an automobile accident.  Her husband, Felix, was uninjured.  Mrs. Valdez was a former resident of Sciotoville and Wheelersburg.

 

Born April 28, 1911, on Sciotoville Route 2, she was a daughter of Alfred and Grace Mahaffey Peach.  She moved to Denver about eight years ago.

 

Surviving are her husband, Felix Valdez; her father; a brother, Stanley Peach of Sciotoville Route 2; five sisters, Miss Florence Peach and Mrs. Garnett White of Sciotoville Route 2; Mrs. Hazel Ward of Denver, Mrs. Phyllis Hadaway, 1639 Seventh Street, and Mrs. Betty Slocum of Phoenix, Arizona.

 

She was preceded in death by her mother, a sister and a brother.
