LILLY, Doris F. age 91 of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011.

She was born January 31, 1920 in Scioto County, Ohio the daughter of the late Roy & Emma B. (Pearl) Walker.

 

Doris was retired from Springfield Local Schools with many years of service.

 

Preceded in death by her husband Lacy E. Lilly, and her son Lynn Edward Lilly.

 

She is survived by her son David Alan Lilly and wife Laura J. of Springfield, her daughter Deborah L. Jenkins and husband Dennis of Springfield, her daughter-in-law Daisy Helen Lilly of Springfield, 5 grandchildren Julia Schwed, Douglas Edward Lilly, Jason Alan Wright, Amanda N. Bednar, Dustyn Lee Whitt, 6 great grandchildren Blake, Cayden, Hannah, Donovan, Ella, and Mackenzie, as well as numerous other family members and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the JONES KENNEY ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME, Springfield. Rev. Paul Price officiating. Entombment Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.

 

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice in her memory.
